In late Summer this year, the legendary Pete Tong awarded an unofficial Goom Gum remix of the Depeche Mode classic, ‘Master & Servant’, a coveted ‘Essential New Tune’. Fuelling demand for a release, the track dropped last Friday 22nd Nov.
Since its release it was awarded Annie Mac's hottest record in the world and jumped straight in to #1 on the BBC Radio1 Dance Chart.
Goom Gum are two Russian DJs & producers from Saint-Petersburg and have become known for their quality mix of melodic techno and progressive house. Tracks such as ‘Shambala’, ‘Chicken Song’, & ‘Ananda’ have been widely supported by dance music heavyweights such as Moscoman, Dubfire, HOSH, Erick Morillo, Lehar, Musumeci, Armin Van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Eelke Kleijn, Malandra JR., Stan Kolev, Nick Warren, & Chaim to name just a few, with Dynamik label boss, Solomun dropping ‘It’s A Lot’ at many festivals in the last few months.
